CAT PHILES

Waltzing Matilda

Angelito, the wildest cat

Angelito (Little Angel) is the cat you cannot classify under any category. He is a category himself. He is a guest at my mother house and the sweetest animal he is! When he first decided to make my mom's place also his, he also chose my counsin's place who lived downstairs. And then, he chose the whole neighborhood as his territory.

At home, he is tame, sweet and pettable. In the area, he is a real beast, wilde, fierce, attacking every other tomcat in the area, fighting raccoons three times his size, always looking for trouble anywhere.

In-heat time, he looks pitiful, skinny to the bones (despite the fact that he is being fed by both my father and my cousin), scratched all over, a tooth missing, bitten ears. At times, he decides to take a vacation from his wild life and he looks so cute, he is light orange and a bit fluffy, yet skinny tails. No one can keep him in door. We are already abandoned the idea of "protecting" him by keeping him at home and resigned to the idea one of these days he would not come back (however, he is a smart cookie and he is getting old and yet alive).

Angelito comes to eat at my cousin's and when she goes into the kitchen, he goes out and brings his girlfriend in to share his food.

One day he brought a little abandoned just kitten looking for protection at my cousin. He is all heart, except when defending himself from raccoons and other cats competing for his territory.

Angelito is a little devil with a celestial heart!
