CAT PHILES

Dave's View

A real lady

This may be a little indelicate (who, me?), but Patty really got the critters' attention this morning.

First I would like to point out that she doesn't feel that flatulence should be shared. If she feels a bit of pressure building up she immediately heads for the john. Of course, once she's in there, anything goes.

Anyway she was sitting on the couch this morning reading. I was in the kitchen getting a cup of coffee. Suddenly I heard this high-pitched, very loud, squeak, like a large mouse with his nuts caught in a vise. I looked around the corner, and she was blushing such a bright red I could have used her cheeks to light a campfire. The cats were scrambling all over her trying to find whatever had made that squealing noise, digging and pawing at her lap.

Mac's head had been resting on her lap, but now he was staring at her with this reproachful look on his little pointy face.

I said, "Patty! Was that you?" And would you believe it, she blushed even deeper. Heat waves were shimmering over her head. But she never answered, just stuck her nose farther into the book.
