I'm used to having Amelia help me make the bed. I'll get the sheets and blanket arranged, then Amelia jumps up on the bed before I pull up the comforter. She provides a cute meowy-lump that offers up sound effects whenever I pet the lump.Yesterday morning, though, things went a little differently. As I prepared to pull up the comforter Amelia jumped up on the bed like usual, followed by Tabitha Fluffybutt. Before Amelia could run under the comforter, Tabitha found herself a spot. Amelia gave me a disgusted look that seemed to say "I am NOT going to share my undercover time with that little fluffy interloper" and departed. I then proceeded to play a little with the Tabitha-lump. Samuel R. Kitten then joined us, and had great fun pouncing on the sister lump. After a couple of minutes I figured Tabitha might be getting tired of being Sammy's pounce target. so I flipped back the corner of the comforter under which Tabitha was hiding, and flipped it over Sammy instead. Tabitha then got to take a turn pouncing on her brother. Both seemed to enjoy it.
Making the bed just turned into a MUCH longer process.
