How lonely my life has become, In this world of wired confines, Oh save me, save me, dear lord, For my heart does not shine in these cages. I hear strange voices from a far Could this be the way of my salvation Or is it another false alarm For I have been trapped at these stages. Alas, a woman of Indian descent Has opened the cage where I dwell I do not understand why I have been kept here for so long. She holds me like a baby And kisses and cuddles me For I am too sick to respond Oh how I want to sing a song. The dark envelopes my sight And I hear the sound of thunder Rocking backwards and forwards I do not know where I am Calm takes over for a moment And the light enters my vision I see unfamiliar places And lots of funny faces Three weeks have passed If 'm not mistaken I've landed in heaven At my new owners' haven.Copyright © Cheggus Maximus
