A friend of my brother brought him a black-as-night lost kitten. She was the cutest thing, although she looks like a spider made of black wires, long antenna tail, and long scrawny legs. She is so friendly that she must have got lost. She enjoys to be touched and cuddles. She eats a lot, but she does not at all become chubby, but scrawny all over. After almost a month with us she is twice her size when she arrived.Bindy lives in my brother's side of the house. As I said in previous accounts of Matilda's reluctance to get along with my brother's cats, the house is divided into two sections.
Now Bindy is Nemesis to those two, Dalmata and Norton. She enjoys horseplay, they do not, "too undignified for two mature cats," they probably think. However they tolerate her. She craves for company and there is another stray cat a bit older than her. If Bindy has a chance, she flies through the door and both start to play as if there is no tomorrow. I have never see two cats before having fun with each other so much.
Bindy does not care, she runs after them, jumps on them, bites their tail, messes around with their food plates, etc. I don't have to point out how mad those pranks make Dalmata and Norton.
As a healthy cat she is, Bindy flies through any open door. Often she visits Matilda and Melinus (Matilda, curiously is not upset by her presence, she might hiss a bit, but that is it.). Malinus does not like Bindy at all. He gets really upset when she comes in, and I have to keep an eye on him.
I could show you a picture of Bindy, but a caricature will give you the impression she causes in the eyes of the beholder...
If you thought my caricature of Bindy was a gross exaggeration, okay, this is her:
