Many of you will remember the first picture I had of little baby Caliban, flashing the camera.

Caliban loves to display his bum. He always keeps his tail proudly in the air and sticks his bum up when he walks. He tries to stick it in my face all the time. I have to tell him, 'I can see it's you. I don't need to smell your backside to know it's you.'

But Caliban takes his bum very seriously. It is his calling card and his fingerprint. He just proved that to me.

I have a fingerprint swiper on my laptop. Just now, as Caliban was begging for his breakfast, he sat down on the fingerprint swiper. It announced: 'Cannot verify your fingerprint. The image was scanned but it has poor quality to be accepted.' and 'Swipe your finger slower. The image was not accepted. Place the same finger on the fingerprint sensor again.'

Caliban won't comply since he is now happily munching on his breakfast.
