Well, Calvin has discovered the boob tube. Last night, as Meowmy wrestled with insomnia, Calvin plonked himself down on the end of the bed and watched a dog run across the TV back and forth in a commercial. When that was done, he saw channels flipping and started to lose interest. Until I hit MTV. They had that Elimi-date show on. (one of the 400 new blind date shows) and he sat absolutely enthralled. He sat there for over 30 minutes just watching. Didn't even lie down. Sat up properly, ears forward, facing the screen, the only movement was his head as he followed movements on the screen.

When the show was over he started to fidget so I turned to Cartoon Channel, which had Quick Draw McGraw on. He LOVED that one. Eventually all the hard work of watching TV made him sleepy so he climbed down into Sam's bed and shoved him over so they could both fit. And out like a light he went.

Can't wait to see how he reacts to Animal Planet.
