Sorry I'm so behind in replying to my email but I'm a verrry busy cat, you know. The new girl on the block has me totally twitter-pated and I don't want to miss a moment when she's outside. She's also a Snowshoe but much lighter in color than me and also more beautiful. She is quite slim, with long legs and we have been seen kissing in the street. She's also a scamp and chases me. I run for cover and then turn and hiss at her. Gotta remind her who is #1 around here!!!

I also just returned from a 3-day camping trip where I caught a big brown mouse the first morning and made every effort the next two days (in a different park) to catch several small squirrels, but that mean old Karen kept a close eye on me and wouldn't let me do more than *watch* them. I tried, but she hollered and chased me. I got sooooo sick of hearing NO NO NO. How am I supposed to know that moles, rats and mice are YES but birds and squirrels are NO. I mean, how much temptation can a mighty hunter such as myself endure? They practically run right up to me and come down the trees right to where I'm sitting. Kinda spoiled my fun and I refused to come out from the brush the last morning cause I was determined to catch me a squirrel the last minute before we left for home. Can you believe *she* climbed and crawled into the brush until she could grab me by the neck and haul me out? [sigh]

As for Tigger, we haven't heard anymore about him, but our weather now is just perfect for cats and I'm sure he's allowed to go outside and explore all the delights of his new home on the farm... [grr] I almost wish I lived on a farm and had such an interesting life as he now has. Oh well, my life is very good, too. I'm just glad he's out of my hair and won't be coming back. I got a lucky break as a homeless cat and now he got one. I believe ALL homeless cats should have a break. Am I a nice guy or what? {purrrr}

I liked your "fish" story. Don't know if I'd want a "Harold" around or not. I don't pay any attention to the fish tanks when in the pet stores. I prefer my fish cooked or from cans anyway...
