We just made the kids a great catnip toy (can't remember where I got the idea for it).

Here's what you'll need:

• 2 long tube socks
• natural raffia
• catnip

How to make the toy:

1. Fold the raffia in a bundle thick and long enough to resemble the tube sock's dimensions.
2. Start stuffing one sock with the raffia, adding catnip on the way. Don't be stingy with the catnip!
3. After filling almost to the top, start stuffing the stuffed sock into the other sock, open side first. Keep sprinkling catnip on the way.
4. Once you reach the other end, tie the opening with a string of raffia and you're done!

Watch your cats enjoy being able to claw with all four paws at the same time!
