Before I wrapped my gifts for Chanukah my cat saw fit to play with wrapping paper. After being told no once she just kept doing it. Needless to say that after I wrapped the gifts she continued to hang around the gifts and tried to play with the paper.Anyway, little does my cat know she is getting her own gifts for Chanukah which I also wrap. Like any human I also when I buy her gifts I try to sneak them into the house (I have an apartment) when she is not looking and lock her out of the room when I wrap her gifts so she can open them herself. I guess when it comes to Chanukah gifts for my cat she gets the royal treatment.
The other night when I was wrapping one of my cat's gifts for Chanukah she pushed the door open and then ran up and peeked at her gift. Then before the second gift was wrapped she lay on top of the wrapping paper. I then started (jokingly, I did not tape it or anything) to wrap my cat inside the paper for a second and then released it. My cat stayed on the wrapping paper. In fact even when I first dragged out the paper earlier in the week to wrap other gifts my cat started playing with the paper.
