When Tye first came home with me, my guest room became "his" room while we were going through the process of introducing him to the other feline residents. He slept on the twin bed in there and came to regard it as his bed.About six months after he came home, my mom came for a visit and met him for the first time. Everything went very well until bedtime, when Tye was clearly nonplussed to see a relative stranger climbing into *his* bed! Ever the gentleman, he didn't put up a fuss, however, or so I thought.
The next morning I asked my mother how she'd slept and she replied that she hadn't slept very well. I asked why (the bed is very comfortable), and she said it was because Tye had sat at the foot of the bed and stared at her all night, and she'd kept waking up because she could feel his eyes boring holes into her!
