CAT PHILES

TJ and The Dust

Crazy Cat Story

The thread about kitties coming into peoples homes made me think of this unbelievable story that happened to my Mom.

Mom was cat sitting a friends cat in her home for a few weeks. Coco the Persian Princess came into her first heat while staying with mom. This cat was SPOILED and the owners were waiting for this special time because they wanted to breed her with some fancy pants Persian stud boy.

Well this ratty old tomcat started hanging around in the backyard after Coco's arrival. Mom had Pasta cat but she was an old girl with one eye, not one that attracted the gentleman callers. Anyway this tom was howling and scratching at the windows all day and night. Of course Coco teased and taunted him through the window to no end.

Well mom came home from work one day and something just didn't seem right. There were grey paw prints all over her floor, rug and furniture. The girls were nowhere to be seen. She went in her bedroom and this blur of fur LUNGED at her when she walked in her room. She screamed and the tom went and burrowed behind her waterbed. After the initial shock she went into the living room to look for the girls and they were huddled behind the couch and the fireplace screen was knocked over, suet was everywhere and from there originated the grey pawprints.

This tom cat came down the fireplace to well....get to Coco! Has anyone ever heard of this before. Her neighbor came over and they got the tom out (not before he sprayed up a storm) and then she could only wonder if the tom had had his way with the girls. Pasta was old and spayed so no worry there but the little virgin Coco was not. She had to call her friend and tell her what happened, "um, I have some bad news, your cat may have been raped?" and sure enough Coco turned up pregnant and had 5 of the strangest looking (but cute) kittens I have ever seen. Homes were found for all and mom was never asked to cat sit again.
