CAT PHILES

Stacey, slave to her kitties

Distinct Personalities

Patrick Patrick: Definitely the alpha-male of the house. He was the first cat and although he is a lot less aggressive than the other cats, the other three definitely defer to him as "the boss". I also think Patrick has the most personality as far as trying to communicate with the humans to get what he wants rather than the standard "meow feed me" and "meow water me". He is the biggest giver and receiver of affection from the humans as well, the biggest "baby" seeking acceptance by the slaves. He is the only cat whom really likes to be cuddled at any time, not necessarily only on his terms. Patrick is my favorite, hands down and definitely "mommy's cat".

Nancy Nancy: After Patrick, she's in charge. Being the only female, I think she knows it and uses that to keep order amongst the males. She's very self-sufficient and rarely seeks affection from humans. She sees humans as only feeders, heaters and beaters (she likes to be spanked, remember!). She considers Patrick as her mother and primary caregiver, he is the only breathing member of the household she seeks approval and affection from. She's vain and thinks she's beautiful, special and rare. She believes she deserves and should get anything she wants. Nancy is really the only true "bad cat" in the family and is the cause of most major destruction and distraction in that field. She is assertive and aggressive when the situation calls for it and never fails to speak her mind. She loves Sid because he is her brother. She dislikes Bob to a fault but tolerates him because she knows he's not leaving, no matter what she does or says.

Bob Bob: Bob *wants* to be the alpha male and wants to be second in command but respects Patrick's position and (I believe) is frightened of realizing Nancy's true wrath first hand. The youngest of the bunch by 3 years, he's the main trouble maker mainly because of playfulness. Tends to randomly attack Sid & Nancy for no reason, causing havoc amongst the troops. Bows to no one, furry or human. He is his own cat with his own agenda and does nothing unless it's on his terms. Loves his human daddy more than anything else and only tolerates his Mommy. Snuggles on his terms, lets you know when there has been enough touching by humans. Of the 4, he is the most predictable in his actions and reactions and daily habits. I also think he's the smartest of the 4. Bob is "Daddy's cat".

Sid Sid: Sid is basically "just there". He's not too bright, never really gets into any trouble because he doesn't have the attention span to do so. Loves Patrick almost as much as Nancy and loves Nancy. Loves Bob only because he forgets that Bob is mean to him. When Sid snuggles, he snuggles big and purrs loud. Very sweet and kind. I always say that Sid has a good heart.
