Just as I was sending my last post a woodpecker banged into the sliding glass window right where my pets were laying, Dusty was inside and the dog outside. They always lay like that, back to back with the glass in-between them, strange. I have a picture of that, I will have to put on the web page.

Anyhoo, he (Dust) must have levitated 2 feet off the ground from a sound sleep. Of course the stunned bird flew a few feet away and then came back and flew right into the window again!, This time Dust was more alert and tried to catch it through the glass. What a graceful bloated beast he is. As the bird bounced off the window my dog Kody caught it ever so gently in his mouth and then put it down on the ground, stared at it, and then the bird flew away!

A few minutes later both have resumed the back to back position and are happily snoozing!
