I know kittens learn by emulating older kitties - I've watched Tabitha and how she's learned cat behavior from watching Amelia and Cleo. This morning was something else all together! This morning my beautiful Amelia baby did her usual fine job - as soon as stepped out of the shower and draped a towel around my shoulders, Amelia jumped up, groomed my hair, and gave me a wonderful purr massage. Yesterday after I was through shaving and Amelia had climbed down, baby Tabitha came up and did the same things - groomed my hair again, and sat there purring up a storm. Today, though, she didn't feel like waiting her turn. When I was about midway through brushing my teeth with Amelia stretched out lengthwise on my shoulders, I felt a tug on the towel - Tabitha was climbing up.
It's a little bit of a challenge brushing one's teeth with a long Amelia cat draped over one's shoulders. It's considerably more effort when you've got a long Amelia cat draped along your shoulders AND a tiny Tabitha cat perched on your right shoulder just where Amelia ends. Gets to be a bit of a balancing act.
