Meowmy found your letter to me on your Meowmy Flippy's web site this morning, and I had to write back as soon as I could. I swatted her on the legs first to let her know that she's not supposed to lose emails from you any more. BAD Meowmy.

I'm glad that you like your new home, and that it has lots of places to climb and windows to look out of. None of us like to look out of our front windows much, as there aren't many new people or things out there yet. I'm told it should become more active as spring gets here and the geese come back to live. I asked Berfert why they just couldn't go bring a spring back, and he told me not to be stupid. He's mean sometimes.

Do you play much with the old cats at your house? I chase Tanada a lot. I sometimes can get Merlin to play chase, but he's so fat that running makes his tummy sway and hit walls. Meowmy says that making fun of Merlin isn't nice, but she giggles at his swaying tummy too. Berfert is strange, he doesn't like to play, he takes his job of protecting Meowmy and Paw from their socks seriously. He says that they call them 'nakies and we might as well humor them. Penelope Marie plays with me the most, but she's been clinging to Meowmie a lot lately. Meowmie says that she might be missing the kittens a bit. I don't know, but I think she's missing those boy kitties that were hanging around here more. Penny is strange, sometimes she plays and sometimes she is too busy and tells me to leave.

Meowmy says that your Meowmy Flippy has hurt her hand. I'm sorry about that, especially if it means that she can't scritch you as much as your beautifulness deserves. Meowmy also has some pictures of me to send you, but can't find your new address. She told me to ask you to have your meowmy send it to her. But don't let your meowmy use her hurt hand too much. She has to get better so that she can give you the scritches your loveliness deserves.

Meowmy tells me that your seasons are backwards of ours. Does this mean that you put pepper on your food instead of salt? Do cats over there put seasons on their food? Is it better that way? Meowmy lets us lick the plates after they eat sometimes and I really like some of the seasons she uses, especially the beef ones. I have to fight Tanada for the chance to eat spaghetti though. Tanada loves stuff with tomato in it. Do you like any people foods? Do your meowmies (you're so lucky having two of them) let you eat human foods? I love to eat lots of human foods, but Meowmy and Paw say it makes me gassy and they don't want to have to move out of their own house. As if it were theirs, it's ours and we LET them live here.
