There is a problem with our Drinkwell Pet Fountains! Well not actually with the fountain itself, but there is a problem.

The kittens, Tiger and Lillie (aka Trouble and More Trouble) are fascinated by water! For example, don't know where they are. Just run the water in the kitchen sink. Within seconds one or both will be on the counter ready to help with whatever you are doing.

Now the problem with the Drinkwell Pet Fountains. We have two of the deluxe model with the optional reservoir, which is a clear plastic bottle. Lillie tries to play with the stream of water running into the basin, but Tiger has discovered the water in the reservoir. The water moves about when he bats the bottle but no matter how he stretches his paws around the bottle he can't get to it, and therein lies the problem! Eventually, he knocks the bottle off its base and glug, glug the water ends up on the floor!

Then Tiger sits there and watches it with a look that says "Did I do that?" Actually he's a pretty smart little guy.

I love my kittens.
