Went to get Senyah her present tonight - a new coffee table to replace the old dilapidated one), at a place called Wicke's Furniture.

Anyway, I ask the concierge (they have a concierge in there - weird!) if anyone ever comes in and asks "Is Wick awound?" Her eyes narrow a little, then she guffaws and says "No, you're the first".

When they bring out the box with the table inside, I tell the warehouse guy "My cats are going to love that box!" He just stares at me with a "I have to work all weekend, including Christmas Eve" glare, as they load it into my pickup.

As I drag the box in, Senyah asks me what it is, and I tell her it's a big cat toy. She believes me! - just says "Oh", sits back down, and goes back to her gift wrapping. I must be spoiling the cats too much and ignoring her too much (grin).

Fortunately, when I tell her what it really is, her eyes light up and she asks "Really! We can throw out the old one now?"

I love getting to be Santa sometimes, even if I am a nerd (grin).
