Dear Friends,

Today, I have been nursing my Meowmie. Because of a very bad headache, she went back to bed after feeding us breakfast, cleaning our trays, letting us out and getting Uncle Peter up. I began my nursing duty after taking my morning exercise. I thought Meowmie would greatly benefit from warmth so I kept her warm by lying up against her tummy, and healing purrs - lots of them. I am happy to say that these were just what Meowmie needed. By 3:00PM she was feeling well enough to get up.

But she is not yet fully recovered. She still has a croaking voice and now she has done a little work, she says she is again feeling exhausted. Fortunately, she has just enough energy to feed us all and take herself back to bed. After dinner, therefore, I will again need to resume my nursing duties. if needs be, Thalia has agreed to cover the night-shift.

Under our care, I'm sure it won't be long before Meowmie is well again.
