Anyone ever had a cat that got hold of a hot pepper? My hubbie and I had Subway sandwiches the other night and we all know how messy they can be with the oodles of lettuce they put on the damn things... well, one of Steve's hot banana pepper rings plopped out and fell on the floor. Everyone who own's a pet realizes that any type of food-stuff that ends up on the floor is no longer human food...it's pet food. Well, Six (11 month old terror) pounced on the pepper and had it in his mouth chewing before we could stop him.WOW....what a sight! His head started spinning, cat spit goes flying (along with the pepper), and he starts running around the room frantically spitting and shaking his head. He then starts rolling on his back on the floor (for what reason I have no idea) and then begins sneezing profusely... Let's review the scene!! Not only do we have globules of cat spit all over the furniture, we now have cat boogers everywhere as well!
Steve finally got hold of him and calmed him down and we gave the poor thing some milk (VERY pleased....Jade liked this too....its a real treat for them). He was finally calmed down...and in our frenzy to calm him down, we forgot about the evil pepper piece lying on the floor. He later went up to it, sniffed it, hissed at it, and slunk away from it. *Chuckle* I guess he isn't a hot pepper kitty, eh?
