Nancy works some really long hours, but fortunately is able to do some of her work from home. Consequently she frequently doesn't leave the house until a hour or two after I do.

This morning she was getting ready for work when she heard a commotion out in the kitchen. When she went to look, everybody except Cleo was gathered around Harri Roadcat (Cleo was on greebling duty on Nancy's pillow). Harri had a bird in her mouth and was growling at everybody with her back arched - "keep away, this is my birdie!".

Harri has been having allergy problems lately so she's had a stuffy, runny nose. Even so, she managed to get hold of a bird before it could get away - pretty impressive performance! That's the first time any of the Highland kitties has caught a bird.

Nancy was able to get the bird from her and turn it loose.
