Mark's Loves

My Incredible Little One

Milo in a bowl

A Poem about Milo

His meow is not delicate, his purrs are quite nice
His preference for toys is mostly stuffed mice
He screams for his breakfast first thing in the morn
And his fur on my clothing most frequently adorn
Not a day goes by that I don't thank my stars
For the day that I brought him home in my car
To PetCo, for a lizard was my original goal
Instead Milo's eyes sucked in my soul.
I was smitten by a kitten, standing there in a shock
I knew he would be mine before more turns of the clock
Found walking on Main Street one late summer day
He is now in my home and my heart for to stay.
He really is My Incredible Little One
To spend time with him is so much fun
Yes, Milo's his name and he has many toes
And his tongue seems to have this thing for my nose.
He is my best friend, my most precious cat
And the one thing that I must say is that
He'll be in my heart for the rest of my life
With cuddles and headbonks to keep me from strife
He may steal my chair while I go away
But he stole my heart from that first day.
