Hoolikittenism is totally contagious to other cats. Be warned, isolate hoolikittens before they infect the others!I went to my Mom's house today. She and I split a big bag of rice she got at Costco, so I had my half in a giant ziploc bag. I put it down on the floor (mistake #1) and walked away (mistake #2).
I returned to that room awhile later, to find Sam and Calvin lying on either side of it, staring intently at the bag as they both crunched away on RAW RICE! They looked up at me like "damn we're busted, but check it out Mom, raw rice is GOOD!"
Upon examination of the bag, it had been disemboweled. There were giant bite marks right in the center of its "tummy" and a hole. Only a tablespoon of rice spilled out, in addition to whatever they ate. So not a huge loss, but certainly hoolikittenism at its finest. And Calvin instigated and got Sammy involved. Usually my Sam is the "well-behaved" one!!
Heehee.
