Well, now the New Year is here, it's back to business. What did terrible two get for Christmas? A new cat tree. The world's best cat tree. I've seen it in the front window of the local pet store for months. It had no price tag on it... you know, if you have to ask...
On the Friday before Christmas, I got off work at noon, and went to the pet store. I walked in, eyed the clerk, gestured at the tree, and said "How much?". It wasn't so much a question as a demand.
*Gulp!* $$$!
Never mind what it cost, enough said that when I got my charge card back, it was still hot.
It is a skyscraper, as tall as me, and suffice it to say that although I own a large car, it had to be delivered by truck.
It came a few hours later, with two big guys carrying it. I had dispatched the old tattered one, to the noted concern of four bright green eyes.
You know what they say "Out with the old, in with the new!". You know you are a true cat lover when their furniture is better then yours.
And better it is! I've never seen more plush carpet!, OK maybe in a five star hotel once. It has multi colours, brown, green and grey, with bumps that make it look like a real "tree". Magnificent workmanship. It must have taken many humanhours to build. What a structure!
Seven sitting perches, one big house to sit in, and a penthouse! I installed it at the living room window, and introduced Velvet and Cleo to it by putting them on it.
They jumped off. Cleo's reaction was "so what? big deal!" Velvet is just ignoring it completely.
Cats. I love them.
