CAT PHILES

T'Chan's Songs

Cats Judging Character

Many long years ago, I had an acquaintance (not a friend), who would come into my house and loudly proclaim that she hated cats and kids. Since I had a good supply of both, I could only assume that she wanted both to be locked away while she shared her august presence with us. (I never did!) She also had a full repetoire of horrible cat stories, which she was anxious to share with me!

On one of her visits (she sold -- cosmetics!), she was sitting at the kitchen table in a "Captain's chair." Since she was not exactly thin, portions of her backside kind of pooched out of the open spaces. (You can see this coming, right?)

My gorgeous T'Chan (Rainbow Bridge) wandered into the kitchen to see what was going on in his house. He took one good, long look. Then he walked over and sank his claws into that bountiful bottom! She shrieked, leapt to her feet, and took a back handed swipe at The Ferocious Cat, which he nimbly evaded.

Funny, but she conducted her business with me at the front door after that. And after every one of her visits, I would find T'Chan and kiss his sweet face.
