CAT POET'S CORNER

Kitty the Cat!

All dressed in black with bright blue eyes
wearing a look of awe and surprise,
if you stroke his shiny coat of fur
he will melt in your arms and gently purr,
at each foot end a padded paw
beware inside hides a cutting claw,
to aid his balance a tail like silk
to drink he favours a bowl of milk,
no noise can escape those acute ears
his glossy eyes look filled with tears,
so full of pride his graceful walk
until at last he learns to stalk,
his widest part his whiskers size
his love is like the finest prize,
there is no other quite as pretty
as this bundle of fur that I call Kitty!
