I don't know how much more of this I can take. After all the pains
I've taken to training the resident hoomin, he dared to come home last
night without the proper food. After he realized that there was none
of "MY" food in the cupboard, he went outside and brought in some of
the outside food he feeds the stray cats in the neighborhood!!! As if
I'd eat that stuff. I ended up having to eat some of Sammy's wet food
instead of my good crunchy food.
On a lighter note, this afternoon (after the hoomin finally went and got the good food and I ate) my daughter Sammy, the great hunter, was on her leash outside on the patio. For two years she has been chirping at the glass door at the birds eating at the feeders outside. A kamikaze dove flew down on tried to land on her head, and then landed right next to her. So, after all Sammy's bragging about what she was going to do if she ever got a chance to catch a bird, guess what she did? She ran inside - now she wants to know if Doves can get rabies.
