Between the keyboard and the iMac there is a 2" trail. When at home, Matilda never, ever, walks on the keyboard - she carefully walks through the 2" trail. She often goes from one side of the computer, where the bed is, to the other to lie in one of her boxes next to me at the right. I knew that she messed around with the keyboard because there was a lot of hair on it, but I could never catch her. I began to think she was innocent, especially when she gave me that "innocent" look she puts on when crossing from one side to the other. But, a couple of nights ago, I left the iMac on to perform the index of the contents, something this machine does automatically at night. When the iMac is on for more than 20 without me touching the keyboard, it shuts the monitor off automatically until I press a key.
Guess what happened at 3:00 in the morning!? All of a sudden, the whole room was lit and I woke up and what did I see? The computer had turned itself on, because “innocent” Matilda was walking all over the keyboard. You should have seen her “Oh, my god, he got me” face!
