Harri the Mechanic Roadcat

If Harri was a human I'm sure she would be a heavy equipment mechanic.

When we walk in a company yard or a truck stop, she always has to check out the trailers. She loves to climb in the big wheel rims (just the outside ones) and inspect the rims and the valve stems and peek through the holes to see what's on the other side. She always tries to go under the trailer to climb up on the wheel bogey, but her mean Paw never lets her so she has to be content with checking out the axles and the brake cans and the air bags from the ground.

When we walk up to our tractor she frequently jumps up on the catwalk behind the cab (well, it *is* a catwalk!) and inspects the hoses and fittings, and frequently tries to climb up under the fairing to inspect what's between the outside wall and the inside.

And when we walk past a row of parked cars, she insists on walking *under* the rear of the cars so she can check out the underpinnings.

This kitten can amuse herself in the most unlikely places! This truck stop has only a 10 foot wide by 80 or so foot long stretch of grass, but between the grass and checking out the trailers we had an excellent walk.
