Well, there the cats were one night, just after the big night of the meteor showers, running full tilt through the apartment, meowing at top pitch, and just generally being incredibly boisterous.
"Why are the cats suddenly going bonkers?" I asked.
Richard, with an ever-so-serious look on his face, replies "The meteorites interfered with their senses and they think the Mothership's coming back!"
I swear he reads this newsgroup when I'm not looking.
