Columbine began her career as a mighty hunter of flies and moths last night with her inaugural fly kill. She was inspired by the lion documentary we were watching at the time and, during a slow moment, hopped down from her cat tree (where she was sitting watching the TV action) and brought down a fly. She played with it for a little while then, with disgusting lip smacking and crunching noises, ate it.

Ted looked on in disgust. Apparently, in Ted's world, a fly is not worth bothering about - only d*gs and pesky kittens bother with flies! (Moths, on the other hand, are fair game...)
