CAT PHILES

Whatever Cats Want

Millie's Poems: 1

My grandmother had written some poems
about her cats back in the 1940s.
This is the first of the poems.

Muffet, Satan and Smokey

Muffet is like a snow white muff,
Soft as any powder puff.
Just a lazy kitty, she
Tho' I think that she's a he.

Satan with his coat so black,
When he leaves, he'll be back.
Nights, he wanders here and there,
Days, you'll find him in the rocking chair.

Smokey, gray as any mouse,
Always sneaking round the house.
Smirking with a nasty leer,
Warning the others not to come near.
