That's what I am now, according to Daytona.A couple days ago, I laid some seed on the patio for the wild birds in the area. This morning, Daytona saw something outside and ran into the bedroom to take a look from that window. Two seconds later, she ran right back to the patio window and started going crazy. The fattest squirrel I had ever seen was helping herself to the birdseed. I don't know if she ever saw Daytona or if she realized that the cat can't get to her, but she didn't flinch a bit as she put herself about 1 foot from the window.
Even as I type this, Daytona is going crazy. She keeps looking at me in hopes that I'll let her out just this one time. She's also vocalizing her frustrations (softly, of course, so the squirrel doesn't hear her). She's even purring out of the excitement of it all. And for the first time ever, I heard her chatter her teeth.
