I've been sick this last week, and coughing spells have landed me on the couch every night. It's been an eye opening experience.

Do you people have any idea how busy cats are all night. Do you realize, that if you get up, no matter how many times in the middle of the night, the cats think it is morning, and need to be fed EACH TIME.

I could swear I heard them rolling up the living room rug before their wrestling match, that must be how they hide the evidence of their night time ruckuses. And you know how sometimes you can't find one of you shoes?? Well, I heard shoe leather getting dragged off somewhere.

Then there was all that jumping. Now, where in the world, were they jumping from. Mind you.. MY boys don't get on the counters.... But gee, it sure sounded like they were hitting tile floors on landing.

Then there was the couch issue. Now I am used to having to share a double bed with my husband and three cats. But having to share a narrow couch with three cats is a little to much, one was kind of nice, used him for a hot water bottle. But three was getting a bit carried away.

Do you have any idea how many time a night your cats try to get into cupboards???? I could hear their claws prying on the doors. Why would a cat want to get in a cupboard in the middle of the night? And the squeaking doors as they opened them, and 15 trips per hour up and down the stairs... [thump thump thump].

It's no wonder the little things sleep all day. Wish I could.....
