My little Juliet has a cute night-time ritual. During the night (mostly whilst I'm asleep) she'll bring her favorite 2 or 3 toys into my bedroom and leave them around my bed. I don't know why she does this -- perhaps she wants me to play with her during the night ... So every morning I have a ritual: to pick up all of Juliet's toys and return them to the toy basket.

Romeo is not so diplomatic. He *insists* that I wake up at 4:30AM each morning to play with him. He whacks me with his paw on my cheek until I start to stir. Then I cover my face with the sheet and he claws at the sheet, trying to uncover me.

So then I have to get up and lure him into the laundry (where his food is) to feed him. Once he's busy eating I stagger back to my bedroom, this time shutting the door FIRMLY so that no furry kitties disturb my slumber.
