Tonight I was doing my rounds - checking the doors to see who was present for the nighttime feeding. I had already fed Buster at the front door. When I opened the back door, I saw Lady coming up the walk, so I sat down to pet her. Suddenly, I see that there are three cats coming my way, all at once, in single file (grin). They are Lady, then Spot, then Buster.
Buster takes immediate possession of my lap, while Lady and spot rub against my knees and headbutt my hands.
Cat heaven! Well, except for the fact that spot is very jealous, and growls at Buster. She doesn't seem to mind Lady, though - they eat out of the same dish with no problems.
So I bring Buster in, and feed the other two. In the meantime, Buster and I settle in for some serious cuddling on the couch, because he really likes to be cuddled.
Now, Little Feet is a sniffer. He comes over to check out Buster, who pretty much ignores little Feet, which is good, because I'm feeling mischievous tonight. I lift one of Buster's feet up, and tell Little Feet, "Here's a foot for you to sniff", and Little Feet starts sniffing that paw until Buster moves it.
Buster shifts position, and another paw is stuck out. So I call Little Feet over to sniff this foot, which he does. This goes on for awhile; a foot becomes available, I'll call Little Feet to sniff it, little Feet sniffs it.
Buster finally gets tired of it, though, and gets up. Well, i finally pick him up and go over to where Senyah is sitting, and ask if she wants to sniff Buster's feet. She pets him, but Buster has decided that all this sniffing makes him want to go back outside. He isn't going to take any chances of being sniffed by Senyah too...
