PC has busted his chains. The other cats are exhausted and PC is running wild. Early this morning he woke Rob and I up by running back and forth on the computer tables, knocking off all the CDs, figurines, my cat calendar, and the other odds and ends. It took quite a while to pick up and then he went back behind me and did it again. He then chewed on the cord to my headphones, but I saw him grab them and got them away before he could really bite into them. He tried to chew one of the wires to Rob's computer, but Mandy stopped him. He ran back and forth across Rob's computer keyboard while Rob was trying to play Mech Warrior on it. PC was unceremoniously tossed onto the bed.
I was sitting on the side of the bed and he attacked my feet, several times. He tried to shove me off the toilet so that he could take a peek at what I was doing, woke Mandy up twice last night, and participated in the dumping of the kitchen wastebasket. No wonder the other cats are tired.
I think Merlin had washed his paws of PC as he has been refusing to play with PC. Berfert knocked him from the living room into the hallway and down it for about five feet. Tanada tried to hide from PC, but he flushed her out and she hid behind Rob for protection. QC laid on him until he was able to wiggle out from under her considerable girth.
Mandy told me that PC's name should be Plain Chaos, Mike says it should be Pain Contributor, or Contribution. I understand that PC had fun in Mike's room and that he had to pick up all his books and put them back in his book case. As I write this, PC walked across Rob's computer and tried to run off with his mouse. I never thought I'd consider spanking a cat, but I've thought about it. Too bad it wouldn't do any good.
