I'd like to tell you about her ladyship and her penchant for eating human food. This afternoon I was coming in the door, I had bought chicken fingers at the grocery's deli. Penny waited till I came into the room as I entered the door and put on her most pathetic look as if I hadn't fed her for days and that she was desperately hungry, followed by the ever plaintive yowl Siamese have. I put down my groceries and opened the fridge up to put away some of the items I bought and I heard a rustling of plastic and saw my bag of fried chicken fingers flash across the room.
Knowing the fried food is VERY BAD for cats on general and that it probably in none to good for me, I chased her down an relieved her of he hard fought for bounty, giving her a nice bowl of specially made organic grown wild rice and chopped meat mixed with calves liver.
She yowled when I took my dinner back but scarfed up the bowl of kitty food just the same. Then as if to say I am being punished for taking the nummy food from her she has turned her back on me. But she is perfectly willing to be my friend just now as I have a nice piece of dried fish as a kitty treat.
