It's all Dennis' fault. He was working in the driveway yesterday and Vino really, really, really wanted to be out there supervising him better. He yowled, watched from the window and through the screen door, but it just wasn't the real thing. But Vino's not allowed out, there are snakes and all sorts of other creepy crawlies out there and besides, it was starting to rain.

Dennis finished up outside and came in. Vino was trying to sneak out as Dennis was coming in and Dennis ended up accidentally stepping on his paw! Vino screamed and ran away. Dennis wanted to cuddle Vino in order to make it up to him, but Vino was now scared and angry at Dennis and hid from him. Dennis was devastated but couldn't do anything so he went to shower.

I was in the kitchen the whole time making curry paste and once Dennis had left, Vino came up to me and I noticed he was crying! The poor baby had tears coming from his eyes. This is only the third time he's cried when we've accidentally hurt or been mean to him. I think it's amazing that he cries, but it's soooo sad!

Vino got extra cuddles from me and a piece of chicken, and when Dennis came back he wasn't scared anymore and allowed Dennis to cuddle him too.
