Dear Ms. Katt,

We received your employment application at Ailurophile Enterprises, and are very impressed by your background. We have no openings at present, but if one becomes available you are high on our applicants' list.

You asked if there were any "small and annoying cats" working at AE. Emily certainly can be annoying, although she hasn't been small since she was a kitten - quite the opposite. However the more enlightened fellow workers at AE such as Martha have learned that she backs off if they stand up to her. Martha herself is the epitome of sweetness - literally a real pussycat. And dear chubby black Sofie is a pacifist whose greatest joy is sleeping at the foot of the sole human staff member's bed, cutting off blood circulation to his feet.

I think you'll enjoy it here, because we cats have trained the humans to do our bidding, as nature intended. We look forward to working with you some day.
