CAT PHILES

Amazing Companions

Silly Putty on my cushion

Sheba looks after me so well. Since I put a new cushion on my desk chair, she makes sure that every time I get up, my cushion doesn't get cold and she works hard to keep the nice round dent in the middle of it.

But she takes her job so seriously that I have a hard time getting her up from her job so I can sit down! She gets real testy and growls and I could swear she is rooted to the chair. The only way is to pick her up and cuddle her as I sit down.

Then her ample proportions turn to Silly Putty and start to flow. So of course she has to hang on somehow. All my sweaters have thread pulls and my body looks like a pincushion. And it takes both my arms to hold her with not a finger left over to run the mouse.

And then she decides she wants to be petted and she rolls over in my arms, trusting me completely not to drop her. Her belly is big enough to bury my whole face in. It sure is soft and has a nice vibration as she purrs. Super-duper Stress Reliever!
