Tales From Outer Magnolia

Tedscapades

Ted pulled a good one this morning.

We were feeding the dogs enormous mutton chops for breakfast. I was standing at the door watching them go at it (lots of schnarfing and general gluttony). Into this orgy of carnivory comes Ted past my legs. She hisses at the dogs from the distance. I paid only a little attention, as she often does this. Kendra (Beagle) was sitting next to Fox (pharaoh hound) wistfully hoping that he would allow her an extra chop. Fox is very defensive about his food, and often nips beagles when they get a bit big for their boots, and try to steal a chop. Anyway, Ted strolls over right into the middle of the two, hisses, which drives off Fox to the other end of the yard, inspects the chop that he had been eating, then wanders away. Kendra steals the chop. Fox is looking very upset by this stage, as he does not tolerate any interference with his food.

Ted decides that she didn't like what the dogs were eating and comes back to watch them from a respectable distance, next to the tap. Tish was watering the veg garden from this tap, and had not put the tap fitting on all the way, and it was at this moment the tap came half off, spraying Ted with cold water. Exit one cat.

I can only begin to guess what life lessons this experience has taught Ted.
