Falstaff is in love with Molly the tortoiseshell cat, that lives next door. Molly is an indoors only cat, who likes to sit on the window sill and watch the world go by. Falstaff has noticed her sitting gazing at the outdoor world and being his usually friendly self, he's trying to make friends. He never seems to fight with other cats, but always wants to be friends with them. We've seen him going up to the window next door, standing up with two feet on the window sill so he can see her, jumping up onto the window sill to get closer to her and serenading her with gentle meows. I'm not sure how Molly feels about his affections, since she jumps backwards when he jumps up onto the window sill and twitches her tail a lot at him. She's also been seen batting at the glass when he's there. Luckily, there's little risk of kittens, since he's been done and she's behind a pane of glass. I just hope she lets him down gently, since its his first crush, and I don't want a love-stricken teenager moping around the house.Copyright © Rachel Craddock
