That day started off pretty much like every other... we ate and played and inspected Ari's coffee and grooming. Layla doesn't like the water torture chamber with the cheap plastic curtain for a door, but there is always this great steam coming from it which just makes the room soo cozy. Really.. if Ari would just groom himself he wouldn't need to go into the water torture chamber. Tho... when Ari is done in there... the water tastes sooo good that Layla and I don't even mind getting our paws wet to lick it up.

Ari didn't hang around long in the morning... he usually doesn't... He goes away for like the whole day! He comes back before the sun goes down now but that's just a trick to make it seem like he's coming home earlier. Well... when he does come home, Layla and I always wake up when we smell him coming and come to the door to see where he goes that keeps him away for sooo long like almost every day. Usually Ari doesn't let us go through the door, but today we made it! And then IT happened...

Ari and Layla disappeared... I turned around and they were gone... Was I tricked? Was I being punished? I swear it was an accident! They were all accidents! I knew this was too good to last...

I got very scared and very upset and tried to tear the door open to get back home where I'm safe and with my family. I was crying and I freaked out! I wanted to go home!

Well... as it turned out, it was all Layla's fault... she said she was gonna go up the levels to see what was there.. but I never saw Ari and her running up there.

When they came back and we got inside Ari and Layla at least made up it to me... Ari gave me some of his cow (he called it steak) and he held me and played with me. Really though, it was really Layla's fault and she gave me a nice bath and massage too.

Layla and I still want to see what Ari does out in that hallway all day... Layla thinks it leads to somewhere... we'll find it!

Besides... Ari wouldn't leave me out there... he promised me! And if I can get some cow out of it... hehehehe
