CAT POET'S CORNER

The Cat Rhyme

This is about the cats that own us,
because we always make a big fuss,
about everything they do,
even when they poo,
they must think we're all a bit sus.

An example was a cat called Puccina,
who's owners thought she'd be cleaner,
after a bath and dry,
which almost made Puccina cry,
did not really change her demeanour.

Now Romeo was a big guts,
who could eat a ton of peanuts,
after throwing up on the floor,
he'd run out the back door,
and get chased by a bunch of angry mutts.

Juliet was the sweetest little cat,
she'd always be taking a nap,
one day she was asleep,
so I went to take a peep,
and found a little toy on her lap.

Chloe thought she was a big crocodile,
which made her act really vile,
she'd scratch and she'd bite,
she'd put up a really big fight,
and would never try to reconcile.

Tiffany was a big ball of fur,
who really did not want to purr,
one day we shaved off her hair,
which gave her friends a big scare,
and they weren't really sure it was her.

Jetson was a little bit stray,
who found a new home one day,
he liked his new home so much,
that he never lost touch,
and his new owners now let him stay.

All these cats are great,
who arrived by a twist of fate,
now we can't let them go,
because we all love them so,
since they became our best little mate.

When these cuddly ones leave,
it will be a very sad day indeed,
we'll miss their meow,
and we wont know how,
to cope with no cat to feed.
