CAT POET'S CORNER

The Mouse

Oh how I hate to confess
That seeing a mouse
Makes me a mess!
I freeze in terror and tears
As the little thing
Attempts to escape its fears
For ever by my side indeed
Is trusty Gizmo Jane
Poised to meet my rising need
And save me from the mouse
Who has gained entry
Illegally into our house!!
