CAT PHILES

The Highland Furkids

This Kitten Loves Her Work

It appears that Amelia and Tabitha have resolved their disagreements over who gets to sit on my shoulders while I shave. If Amelia is in the house when I get out of the shower, she comes in to help me shave. If she's outside, Tabitha gets a chance.

This morning I paid close attention to HOW Tabitha was grooming my hair while I shaved. Remember I've posted in the past about how when she's eating something extra yummy she closes her eyes? Well, she does the same thing when she grooms my hair! Eyes closed, perched on my shoulders, licking the hair on the back of my head for all she's worth. It is so darned cute that I can't even find words adequate to describe it.

Once she decided that my hair was in order, Tabitha stretched out across my shoulders and spent some time communing with the little black kitten in the side mirror. She'd stare at that kitten, twitch her ears, reach a paw out part way towards the mirror-image kitty. She even tried squeaking at the other kitty. She saw the other kitty open it's mouth, but didn't hear anything from it.

Kitties are just so darned fascinating.
