Joel is currently my fiancee. But can behave like all of the above depending on his mood, along with being my housekeeper, my tormentor and my play-thing.

He is "Step-Dad" to Shmoggleberry, as I was with another bloke when Shmoggleberry turned up.

Just to add a story here, I've previously posted the method which Shmoggleberry used to come into my life: "The Getting Of The Cat". But I've never actually said how I "got" him to come to me.

Previous bloke gave me a huge teddy-bear one Christmas. The relationship was not a good one, and I shared the bed with that teddy bear way more often than I did with him.

As I lay in bed, hugging the bear, I wished and wished for a "real" teddy bear that I could love.

I honestly believe that Shmoggleberry is the answer to that wish.

After Shmoggleberry turned up and stole my heart, I spent my nights holding onto the cat, wishing and wishing that I could have someone who would accept my love just as Shmoggleberry did: unconditionally.

I sincerely believe that Joel is the result of that wish.

I'm fairly superstitious in my own way, and I believe I've got one more wish left, and I know what it is and how I'll have to do it.

My children will be the result of me truly loving Joel and wishing that our union is blessed with kids.

I'm not quite ready for that wish, but I have a strange feeling it will come true when it is the thing I most desire.
