On my gray Tiger when examined close,
White whiskers are those which he has most,
But twenty percent are unquestionably black.

Furthermore he has the brindle cat hair,
That’s light at the roots tipped with dark bands in pairs,
And two whiskers do show that, in fact!

But that was winter and heat may affect
The manifestation because I just checked
No bridled whiskers in my cat’s mask!!!!!

Cats have whiskers on legs, eyebrows and cheeks,
But only those on the muzzle have the info I seek?
I need info to put me on track.

I yen to determine definitively
The whisker statistics to infinity,
But even a reasonable average I lack.

Lilian Jackson Braun cats excepted,
The usual number of whiskers is expected
But color? What of that?
