CAT PHILES

Chewie and Enzo

It's the Treat Lady!

I've had to give up my role as "Treat Lady" to our former building manager that lives down the hall. To be honest, my feelings are kind of hurt.

She comes over once and a while to talk, and the boys have met her in the hallway on occasion as well. They've always liked her, probably because she has three cats of her own and they wanted to sniff her out. But they've never liked her quite as much as they do now. Last time she was over she brought a handful of treats. They must be some very very good treats, because the boys wolfed them down and begged for more.

This afternoon I opened the hallway door while I was going in and out to do laundry. The boys went out into the hallway as they sometimes do, and ran straight for her door. Once there they began yowling at the door and pawing underneath it. "Let us in! Feed us more of those delicious treats! Our human doesn't give us such delicacies!" She opened the door and they immediately were all over her. No matter how much I called them they wouldn't leave her side.

Hmmph, fairweather friends. I've really got to find out what is in those treats.
